Vibe Fitness — General Policies

These policies apply to all members, guests, and authorized individuals at Vibe Fitness locations and at any Vibe-sponsored event or program, whether on or off our premises. By using our facilities, you agree to follow them. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of membership and access without refund, except as required by law.

  1. Accessibility: Vibe Fitness is committed to making our clubs and digital platforms usable for people of all abilities. Our goal is a welcoming experience that everyone can access. Reach out to any location for details on our accessibility commitments.

  1. Respectful Conduct: We work hard to keep Vibe a friendly, inclusive space. We ask everyone to behave respectfully toward members, guests, authorized individuals, staff, vendors, and property at all times. Behavior we do not tolerate includes (but is not limited to) language or actions that are vulgar, profane, indecent, offensive, hateful, discriminatory, violent, hostile, aggressive, threatening, harassing, fraudulent, or otherwise inappropriate. We may remove anyone engaging in such conduct.

  1. Club Courtesy: For everyone's comfort, please follow our club etiquette guidelines. Ask any team member for a copy or to learn more.

  1. Health and Physical Readiness: We strongly recommend speaking with your physician and completing a full physical exam before starting any new fitness or nutrition routine. By using Vibe's facilities, equipment, services, classes, events, or products, you confirm that you are in good enough health to participate safely and that you are following any applicable public health guidance. Please note that Vibe Fitness does not offer medical advice. Stop activity that causes dizziness, pain, or distress and notify staff.

  1. Illness and Infection: If you are showing symptoms of, or believe you have been exposed to, any communicable or contagious illness, you may not use our facilities and must leave the premises immediately. The same applies if your health status could otherwise put members, guests, staff, or the public at risk. All open cuts, sores, or rashes must be covered with waterproof bandages. Vibe reserves the right to restrict access on the basis of illness, infection, or visible skin conditions. Everyone is expected to follow all posted signs and applicable rules and laws, whether or not they are posted. Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination.

  1. Cleaning and Shared-Space Risks: Vibe uses a range of cleaning, sanitizing, and hygiene practices throughout our facilities, generally in line with public health guidance. Even so, using a shared fitness environment carries inherent risks, including potential exposure to illness or infection. These risks include contact with other people who may be sick, as well as exposure to germs, viruses, bacteria, fungi, mold, and other agents that can cause illness or injury. By using our premises, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

  1. Personal Hygiene: Please maintain good personal hygiene while at the club. Out of consideration for members with allergies or sensitivities, please go easy on heavily scented lotions, oils, colognes, and perfumes, and avoid arriving smelling of smoke, vapor, or other strong odors.

  1. Weapons: You may not carry, display, use, or distribute weapons of any kind on Vibe premises or at any Vibe-sponsored program or event off-site. You also may not use any object as a weapon to threaten, harass, or harm anyone. This applies except where expressly permitted by law.

  1. Membership Cards and Check-In Members must present a valid membership card — physical or digital — at the front desk before entering. Because access levels vary by membership type, you must hold the appropriate access and be in good standing to enter a club. Lost cards may be subject to a replacement fee. Membership cards remain the property of Vibe and must be returned when your membership ends. To confirm identity at check-in, we require a membership photo; this photo is not printed on the card. We may request government-issued ID to verify identity.

  1. Personal Belongings: Larger bags, backpacks, jackets, outdoor footwear, and other belongings should be stored in a locker. For lost items, please ask in person at the front desk, we cannot take lost item inquiries by phone. Unclaimed items may be discarded.

  1. Lockers: Lockers are provided solely for Your benefit and convenience and must be emptied prior to exiting the Club. You shall be aware any articles left in a locker overnight will be discarded. The Club is not responsible for lost or stolen items or articles left in any lockers. I release Vibe Fitness Clubs and Club Owner; of any and all claims, demands, suits, complaints, cause of action or any liability for loss, stolen or damage to my personal property while using a locker on the premises. Storage of illegal substances, firearms, and toxic or volatile chemicals is prohibited and punishable by law. We may open and remove contents from any locker at any time, with or without notice, for safety, maintenance, policy enforcement, or legal reasons.

  1. Equipment: You may not alter Vibe equipment or use it for anything other than its intended purpose. Personal equipment — mechanical or otherwise — may not be brought in without prior approval from Vibe, granted at our sole discretion and revocable at any time for any reason.

  1. Locker Room: Please use good etiquette in our locker rooms. Spitting, sleeping, and any sexual activity are prohibited. For everyone's comfort, please cover up with a towel or clothing when moving through the locker room. Used towels go in the designated bins. Photography and video of any kind are not allowed in locker rooms.

  1. Locker Room and Restroom Use: Vibe Fitness follows all applicable state and local laws regarding restroom and locker room use, including those addressing gender identity. Where local law permits use based on gender identity, members and guests may use the facilities that match their gender identity. Where local law is silent on the matter, members and guests should use the facilities matching the gender on their official ID, license, or birth certificate. If you're unsure what your local laws require, please ask your club for guidance.

  1. Sauna, Spa, and Steam Room: Proper attire is required; you may not use these areas nude or shave in them. Don't pour water on the sauna heater, and don't hang clothing to dry in the sauna or steam room. Avoid exercising in these spaces or wearing rubber suits or excessive clothing. These are designated quiet areas — phones, smart glasses, and other devices may not be used for calls, and if you're listening to music or audio, headphones or earbuds are required.

  1. Injuries: If you're injured anywhere on Vibe premises, please notify a team member right away. Our staff can provide or arrange appropriate medical assistance. Vibe is not responsible for, and will not reimburse, any medical costs a member incurs — including emergency response, ambulance, or similar charges — in connection with a medical event at our facilities, programs, or events, including those held off-site.

  1. Self-Organized Leagues: You may not set up your own informal or formal sports leagues, tournaments, or programs at our clubs — including basketball, tennis, pickleball, racquetball, soccer, or squash. League play is organized exclusively through Vibe staff and our official tools. Vibe has sole discretion to decide whether someone is organizing or taking part in unauthorized league play.

  1. Solicitation: Unless you have express authorization from Vibe, you may not solicit members, guests, or staff — in person or in writing — on our premises or at off-site events. This includes solicitation for political, religious, commercial, polling, media, or competitive purposes, or in support of or opposition to any person or cause.

  1. Phones, Smart Glasses, and Mobile Devices: Phones, smart glasses, and other mobile devices may not be used to take photos or video, or for video calls and FaceTime, in any locker room, restroom, sauna, steam room, spa, massage or service room, health or clinical space, childcare area, or other private area of the club. Any photos or video taken in public spaces may not capture another person's image or voice without their prior consent. Devices may not be used for calls in the sauna or steam room. Please use common courtesy with devices everywhere in the club.

  1. Photography and Video: Professional or commercial photography and videography on Vibe premises or at any Vibe-affiliated event off-site requires prior express consent from Vibe management. "Professional or commercial" covers any photography or video taken for profit, professional gain, or any commercial purpose (such as marketing or promoting an outside program, product, service, or brand, including competitors), whether shot with professional gear and crews or with a personal device like a phone or tablet. Personal photography and video is allowed only in public areas of the club (or at affiliated off-site events) at designated hours as posted, which may vary from Club to Club, and never in any locker room, restroom, sauna, steam room, spa or hot tub, massage room, clinical or lab space, or other private area and it must not disturb others. Personal photos and video are limited to images of yourself and may not include the image or voice of any other member, guest, authorized individual, staff member, or third-party worker, except with that person's prior express consent. Personal photography or video for special events or services in childcare areas, the pool, or other event spaces that may include other people must be pre-approved by management and may require consent from those involved. You must obtain a person's prior express consent before photographing or filming them anywhere at Vibe Fitness, this includes members, guests, authorized individuals, staff, and third-party workers.

  1. Wireless Network: When you connect to Vibe's wireless network, you agree not to use it to transmit anything that breaks applicable laws or that defames, harms, or threatens any person, business, or entity. You also agree not to transmit material that infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other rights, and not to compromise the security of our network or any other network. Violations may result in termination of your membership and access, and may carry civil or criminal consequences. Use of the network is entirely at your own risk; Vibe disclaims all liability for any loss of confidential information or resulting damage. We make no warranties about the network's security or suitability, and it is provided "as is." You'll stay connected until you disconnect, and your device may reconnect automatically when in range. By using the network, you agree to indemnify Vibe and its representatives against all claims and losses arising from your use of it, and you accept that Vibe is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages connected to its use or unavailability. We may block or end the service at any time for any reason, and may record and, where appropriate, disclose usage information to comply with the law or to protect rights, property, or safety.

  1. Food and Beverages Outside food may not be brought into our clubs, facilities, events, or premises. You may, however, bring clear non-alcoholic drinks in sealable, unbreakable bottles. Food purchased at our café must stay within café areas unless you've bought it to take off-site, and no outside food or drink is permitted in the café. Please note our café uses peanuts and other potential allergens let your server know about any allergies in your party before ordering, every time.

  1. FOOD SERVICE DISCLAIMER: Nutritional information, calorie counts, ingredient lists, health claims, and dietary recommendations are estimates only and are provided for informational purposes. Vibe Fitness and Pure Eats do not provide medical advice and make no representations regarding the health benefits, suitability, or results of any food, beverage, supplement, meal plan, or dietary recommendation. Members and guests with food allergies or dietary restrictions are responsible for notifying staff prior to ordering. Cross-contamination may occur despite reasonable precautions.

  1. Alcohol: Alcohol may be consumed on the premises or at events only if it was purchased from or provided by Vibe (or a Vibe-authorized third party), and only in designated areas. You must be of legal drinking age with valid ID — we card everyone. You may not use our equipment, facilities, services, programs, or events while under the influence of alcohol. Please drink responsibly; you assume all associated risks. Vibe may refuse service at any time and may suspend or terminate a membership for reasons including excessive drinking on the premises, buying alcohol for underage members or guests, or bringing alcohol into our facilities.

  1. Drugs: You may not use, possess, sell, or smell of any illegal drug on the premises, including anabolic steroids or other illegal performance-enhancing substances. You may not smell of or use cigarettes, cigars, vapor, cannabis, or other drugs while at Vibe. You may not use our equipment, facilities, services, programs, or events while under the influence of illegal drugs. You also may not use any of our facilities or programming if anything — including prescription or over-the-counter medication, herbal remedies, energy drinks, alcohol, cannabis, or any other substance — impairs your ability to participate safely.

  1. Smoking and Vaping: Smoking, vaping, chewing, or otherwise using tobacco, electronic cigarettes, vapor products, or cannabis products (where state law permits) is not allowed anywhere on Vibe premises — including outdoor areas like sidewalks and parking lots — or at Vibe events. You also may not arrive smelling of these products.

  1. Animals: Animals are not permitted on the premises, with two exceptions: a service animal actively assisting a person who needs it, or an on-duty law enforcement animal. Exempt animals must be vaccinated and carry any general license required by state or local law. (Service animals are not required to have any certification, documentation, or vest.) Service animals should generally be leashed or harnessed, unless a person's disability makes that impractical or the device interferes with the animal's work, and must remain under the handler's control at all times. An animal may be removed if it is out of control and the handler cannot manage it, if it isn't housebroken, or if it poses a safety risk. Handlers must clean up after their animal promptly and are responsible for any damage it causes. Public health rules prohibit animals in pools, whirlpools, saunas, spas, steam rooms, and showers. Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted at any Vibe location, except as required by law.

  1. Damage to Property: You may not damage our clubs or premises in any way, including damaging or stealing exercise equipment, towels, supplies, or other property. If you — or a guest, minor, or additional member on your account — causes damage, you are responsible for the cost of repairs, and your membership may be terminated at Vibe's discretion.

  1. Non-Members: With the exception of our café, Vibe's clubs, programs, services, amenities, classes, and events are reserved for members and their guests, as permitted by our guest policy. Non-members wishing to use our café, spa, or clinical services must sign in at the front desk and complete any required guest agreements. Updates are effective upon posting or notice.

  1. Vibe Fitness: Service Animal Accommodation Policy

    1. Purpose:

      1. Vibe Fitness is committed to providing equal access to its facilities for individuals with disabilities in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA") and the New York State Human Rights Law.

      2. This Policy is intended to establish reasonable guidelines governing the presence of service animals within Vibe Fitness facilities.

    1. Definition of Service Animal

      1. For purposes of this Policy, a "Service Animal" shall mean an animal that is individually trained to perform specific work or tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including without limitation, a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability.

      2. Animals whose sole function is to provide comfort, emotional support, companionship, well-being, or a sense of security, without specific task-based training, do not qualify as Service Animals under the ADA.

    1. Verification of Service Animal Status

      1. When it is not readily apparent that a dog is a Service Animal, Vibe Fitness personnel may ask only the following questions:

      2. Is the dog a Service Animal required because of a disability?

      3. What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?

      4. Vibe Fitness will not require documentation, certification, identification cards, proof of training, or disclosure of the nature of an individual's disability.

    1. General Requirements

      1. All Service Animals entering the facility must:

      2. Remain under the control of their handler at all times.

      3. Be harnessed, leashed, or tethered unless such devices interfere with the Service Animal's work or the individual's disability prevents their use.

      4. Be housebroken.

      5. Not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others.

      6. The handler shall remain solely responsible for the care, supervision, control, and conduct of the Service Animal at all times.

    1. Areas Generally Accessible to Service Animals

      1. Subject to compliance with this Policy, Service Animals may accompany their handlers in areas of the facility generally open to members:

    1. Removal of Service Animal

      1. Vibe Fitness reserves the right to require the removal of a Service Animal if:

        1. The animal is out of control and the handler fails to take effective corrective action;

        2. The animal is aggressive, threatening, or disruptive;

        3. The animal is not housebroken;

        4. The animal poses a direct threat to the health or safety of others.

      2. If removal of the Service Animal is required, the individual shall be permitted to continue utilizing the facility without the animal, where feasible.

    2. Multiple Service Animals

      1. An individual utilizing more than one Service Animal may be required to establish that each animal independently qualifies as a Service Animal and performs work or tasks related to the individual's disability.

    3. Member Complaints

      1. Any concerns relating to Service Animals should be directed to facility management. Members shall not confront or interfere with a Service Animal or its handler.

    4. Reservation of Rights

      1. Vibe Fitness reserves the right to modify, interpret, and enforce this Policy in accordance with applicable law and based upon the specific facts and circumstances presented in each situation. Nothing contained herein shall be construed as a waiver of any rights available to Vibe Fitness under federal, state, or local law.

These policies may be updated from time to time. Vibe Fitness reserves the right to revise them at its discretion. Please check with your club for the most current version
